Personally, I'd love to see the Lynx return to the UK wild. Wolves, bears and lynx have all been reintroduced back into the European wild, with positive results. In 1935, the Reichsnaturschutzgesetz (Reich Nature Protection Act) was passed in National Socialist Germany, which placed several native species on a protection list including the wolf and Eurasian lynx.
